“I know, Lord, that our lives are not our own. We are not able to plan our own course. So correct me, Lord, but please be gentle. Do not correct me in anger, for I would die.”

Jeremiah 10:23-24

But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves are green, and they never stop producing fruit.”

Jeremiah 17:7-8

Goodbye Isabel!!!

Ok, the goodbyes are coming fast and furious now! On July 9th we said goodbye to another German volunteer, Isabel! The group is getting so small, there are only 5 of us left in the house at the moment! Here's a pic of Isabel and I at the Cuban restaurant we went to for Tina's last day.

Isabel, we will miss you – your passion, your sense of humor, your craziness and your seriousness! And our house and office is so organized now – Thank you! You are a good friend! So cool that we share the same birthday! I’ll be praying that we can spend our birthday at Victoria Falls next year! Take care and keep in touch!! Love ya!
